How to Save, Edit or Delete a Favourite Search on eBay
After running any kind of search a basic search, an advanced search or a ‘want it now search’, from the search results click the link ‘add to favourite searches’ to the right of your search results. A text box for ‘name of search’ will appear with a suggested name. Either you may accept the suggested name or type a new name. Then click the ’save search’ button. Your search is now saved in ‘my favourite searches’ in ‘my eBay’. You even have the option to receive a daily email of new results for your search. For this select the checkbox and a time frame from the list, for instance, if you want an email of new listings everyday for say 2 months, click on the checkbox and select 2 months.
For editing a ‘favourite search’ first go to ‘my eBay’. You will see a link ‘all favourites’ on the left hand side of the page. Under this link click on the ’searches’ link and find the search you may want to edit. Then click on the link to the right of the search ‘edit preferences’. Edit the required information and click the ‘edit search’ link. You can even delete a favourite search. Go to ‘my eBay’. On this page, go to the left side and click on the ’searches’ link under ‘ all favourites’. Click on the checkbox for the search to be deleted and click the ‘delete’ button.
