Health insurance coverage is something you typically don’t give much thought - that is, until you or someone you love needs it. This very thing happened in my family. My husband, son and I carried group health insurance through my husbands’ employer. Shortly after we married, I persuaded my husband to switch from the Blue Cross plan (80/20) to the HMO offered by his employer. Premiums for the HMO were somewhat lower and there was better coverage for doctor visits and pharmacy.
Within 2 years of switching health plans, my husband was diagnosed with lymphoma, a slow-growing cancer. The prognosis was good, but treatments, medications, and hospital stays were exorbitant. Medical expenses would have been overwhelming had we not switched to the HMO plan. Our HMO health insurance plan covered almost all expenses we incurred with his illness. We basically only paid our co-pays, and, of course, our premiums. In fact, our health plan still pays for his treatments.
Should everyone change to an HMO health insurance plan? Not necessarily. What is important is to know basic facts about our health plan. Important questions to answer include:
What does the health plan cover? Does the coverage meet your needs? Some plans do not include wellness care and preventive care, while others do. If you require many prescription drugs, are these included in your plan?
What does the health plan NOT cover? Health insurance plans usually do not include cosmetic surgery (unless the surgery is reconstructive, repairing damage from burns, an accident, etc.). Major medical insurance plans will only cover hospitalization and other “major medical” expenses.
Who does the plan cover? Family coverage includes immediate family in most cases, spouse and minor children. Are children covered while in college, for example? Are stepchildren or children in custody of the other parent covered? Some health plans cover any child in the family, some cover stepchildren (usually only if they live with you, however). Some plans only cover children who live under your roof. What about foster children, or other children under your care (grandchildren living with you, etc.)
How much are co-pays and deductibles? Most managed care plans require co-pays whenever you receive health services, but may require no deductible. A fee-for-service plan typically includes an annual deductible as well as co-pays for services received.
What health care providers (doctors, pharmacies, durable medical equipment) are covered under your health plan. Most managed care plans (HMOs, PPOs) utilize a “network” of contracted health providers and may not cover providers out of their network. If choice of health care provider is important to you, you should ensure that your providers are in the plan network, or choose a fee-for-service (FFS) plan that covers any provider.
These are just a few questions that you should consider if choosing a health insurance plan. Information about your specific health insurance coverage is very important to have. The last thing you want to be concerned about in an urgent or emergent health situation is “is this covered by my health plan? Be prepared by knowing basic facts of your particular health insurance plan.
Here’s to your continued health!

Install virus protection software. That means three things: having it on your computer in the first place, checking daily for new virus signature updates, and then actually scanning all the files on your computer periodically. Update your anti-virus software daily or weekly and schedule a regular scan. Make sure all family members know what to do if the home computer becomes infected.
Firewalls act as a gatekeepers between your computer or network and the Internet. They are essential for those who keep their computers online through the popular DSL and cable modem connections, but they are also valuable for those who still dial in. Protect your computer from Internet intruders. Use firewalls. Firewalls are usually software product but can also be hardware solutions.
Passwords:
Choose passwords or Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) that are difficult for others to guess. Use both letters and numbers and a combination of lower- and upper-case letters if the passwords are case-sensitive. Use a different password for each of your Internet accounts.
Passwords should not be names, or words (from any language). Hackers who try to obtain passwords for accounts that don’t belong to them (called crackers) use large dictionaries filled with these kinds of passwords. In order to protect yourself against these people, simply don’t use common words!
Change these passwords frequently. Don’t keep your password where someone can see it. If it can possibly be avoided, don’t write it down at all. There are ways to create passwords that are both secure and easy to remember. Remember that your password unlocks your online identity. Don’t leave yourself logged in when your machine is unattended. Everything that is done with your account can and will be attributed to you. It’s best that you keep your password somewhat esoteric. Do not use the same password for different systems.
Back up your computer data on disks or CDs regularly. Retain the only copies of those files on removable media and store the media in a safe place. Use accessories such as rewriteable CD drives and zip disks for copies of your important files - they’re easy to use and relatively cheap.
Alert:
Be alert for fraudulent (sometimes called “phishing”) emails. They may appear to come from a reputable business or a trusted friend but are actually designed to trick you into downloading a virus to your computer or directing you to a Web site to disclose sensitive or personal information. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, educate all system users to be alert for phishing scams.
Practice Safe Computing:
Protect shared files and folders. Set the permissions on the share to “read-only.” This means that no one will be able to copy, delete, modify, or rename your files. Set-up login accounts and file permissions, so only authorised users can access the system. Unix and Windows NT/2000 have these security functions built in. If you run Windows 95/98/Me, you can buy products to provide this protection.
Configure the access restrictions to individual files or folders, so other users can only access the files you want them to. Understand and use the security features provided by your PC software, such as those included in many operating systems, browsers and word processing systems. The safest option is to set your computer to ignore Java and ActiveX programming languages. Otherwise set your browser to ask you each time it is about to run Java and ActiveX code.
Depending on what you know about the site, you will at least have the choice to run it, or not. If information privacy is imperative you should also consider using a file- or disk-encryption system on the sensitive files.
It doesn’t matter that there are potentially thousands of other affiliates promoting the same program because from today onwards you are going to create an unfair advantage. Today you are going to learn some of the skills to becoming a SUPER INCENTIVE MARKETER.
And to be a SUPER INCENTIVE MARKETER you need to create an UNFAIR ADVANTAGE.
The advantage that is EXCLUSIVELY available through you, and ONLY you. I’m talking about the advantage that can’t be found anywhere else. An advantage that if they want to buy the product because of what you are offering, they have to buy EXCLUSIVELY through you.
For those who are getting lost, let me give you an example from the real world.
Two weeks ago I was looking for a DVD/Karaoke player. My requirements were simple; I just had one criteria, - cheap. I found two players, from two different suppliers that fit my criteria, which were exact in every way.
EXCEPT…one supplier decided to create their own UNFAIR ADVANTAGE by offered a free microphone and a couple of free DVD Karaoke discs.
Now of the two suppliers, which one would you have chosen? And on that note I need to mention here that what works in the real world, works in the cyber world.
Today, right now in fact, you need to make a list of unique and exclusive advantages why the average Joe Schmo should order through YOUR affiliate link and not one of your competitors.
It is time to think outside the square….and let me tell you, you don’t need a lot of money to create that UNFAIR ADVANTAGE. To start the creative flow of ideas, let me suggest something, that you, yourself, are a hot commodity, you’re unique, you have exclusivity over yourself. Think outside the square.
Ok, now the rest is up to you. Watch out for PART THREE of this SIX PART series.
I’ll leave you with the saying. If you continue to do what you have always done, you will continue to get what you’ve always got.
No doubt, that taking a moving decision will reflect many complex issues. Moving is not an easy operation, but it is full of compound related matters. Initially and before taking any other step, the concerned person has to sit down calmly and get a notebook along with a suitable pen. He can proceed writing or typing the needed money to pay to moving truckle, along with its required fuel and/ or fees of the driver. If he is planning to travel to another country, he can add the items of official documents, such as due rental, taxes or license expenses. Contacting methods have their charges too, he may need to use internet service, a call, or sending a certain fax to someone while he is in his moving, so adding these fees will be great.
Moving Budget can include also fees of packages, wrapping and moving his stuffs along with luggage. About 30 years back you would find a mere trickle of Britons looking for real property in Spain. Just ask anyone who has chosen to relocate to Spain and they will tell you the same thing. Some people would prefer to see it as a craze and others prefer to see it as a close to an obsession… Customers that are intent on moving to this place extend from young yuppie couples looking for a new perspective to senior citizens who intend to have a break and enjoy themselves.

Notwithstanding the homebuyer is really picky in a part of the world so wonderful in terms of fabulous site. Certainly it’s able to offer all a homebuyer might conceivably imagine and more.
Americans are now seeing the advantage of ordering take-out food from restaurants. With American families spending more and more time on the road, it’s now apparent that being able to order prepared food that the entire family can eat in the comfort of their own home is becoming more common and popular everyday. The New York Time’s recently printed an article stating that take-out orders increased by 20% in 2004 and were expected to continue increasing at a fairly rapid pace in 2005 and beyond.
With the proliferation of the Internet and fax machines, many restaurants now provide a graphic copy of their menu on-line. The consumer simply reviews the restaurants menu, and either faxes in their order, or calls in their order to the restaurant to be picked up in about 30 to 45 minutes.
The fact is “time” is becoming a critical commodity to Americans and American families. Quality family time is achieved in the household, not in busy noisy restaurant where the waiting line can be up to an hour long in some cases. Some of the nation’s largest restaurant chains like Outback Steak House, Applebee’s, Chilies and other chains now offer curbside food delivery. Why? Its simple, mom and/or dad can place the order over the cell phone and pick the order up on the way home from the office. No need to disrupt everyone’s schedule by packing into the car, fighting traffic and then waiting for 30 to 60 minutes to be seated.
I don’t know about you but I’d much rather eat food at my favorite restaurant in the comfort of my home, watching one of my favorite cable shows. No waiting in lines, no rushing to finish my food so someone else can be seated, no incompetent wait staff, no rude people talking on their cell phones or talking at a decibel level that could break a glass.
Give me the ability to order take-out food anytime, anywhere and I’ll be a happy camper.

Many people in the market for a Pit Bull puppy choose to buy that puppy from a breeder. It is important to talk to several different breeders before making a purchase so that you can make the most well informed decision. Breeders should be used to answering questions, so don’t be intimidated when interviewing one.You need to ask questions so that you can find the puppy that is the best fit for you.
Serious breeders should be able to tell you all about their breeding line. They will be able to inform you of any negative traits or behavioral issues, as well as any health problems that have occurred with their puppies. Breeders should also be able to tell you what they have done to improve their methods to avoid behavioral or health problems.
Breeders should also be able to walk you through their process for selecting which dogs to breed and what the likely outcomes of that breeding will be, such as personality, color, health, size, etc.
You should find out how many different types of the dogs the breeder breeds. Some feel that it is better to breed only one type of dog. To ensure pure blood, you would probably want to select a breeder that only works with American Pit Bull Terriers.
Good breeders have more interest in the breed than just monetary gain. They should love the animals they have chosen to breed. Many breeders not only breed animals, but are involved in dog shows, training, etc.
It is also important to purchase from a breeder that tries to keep in touch with the people who have purchased his puppies. This shows that the breeder truly does care about the puppies and where they end up, and should also be easy for owners to contact should a problem arise.
Breeding many litters each year can sometimes lead to different issues, and it is recommended to avoid breeders that do this. Health of the dogs also tends to decline if there have been a lot of breeds in a short time frame.
You should definitely ask to see where the puppies are kept, which will give you an idea of how well they are cared for.
This is just a few things that should be considered when purchasing a Pit Bull puppy from a breeder. You should research all aspects before making a final decision, which should help you end up with the best puppy for you.

If you want to make big profits from currency trading, you need to lock into and follow the longer-term trends.
“The art of contrary” thinking is one of the most powerful tools a trader can use, and is a trait with which all true great traders are familiar with.
What is the Art of Contrary Thinking?
Humphrey Neill’s book, “the art of contrary thinking,” the best known work on the subject, is based on a simple powerful idea that:
“When everybody thinks alike, everybody is likely to be wrong”
“The art of contrary” thinking consists in training your mind to ruminate in directions opposite to general public opinions; but basing your opinion in the light of current events and human behavior”.
Why Contrary Trading Works
By spotting situations when the consensus of a currency is either extremely bullish or bearish, means that a trend change is imminent, as it is likely the emotions of greed and fear have pushed prices too far away from true value.
If you can step aside from the crowd and take a contrary view at these turning points, you can make big currency trading profits.
Contrary thinking can be used in any market and is highly effective in currencies.
Contrary thinking can be used to make really big currency trading profits and if used selectively, when markets are extremely over bought or oversold, you can be in right at the start of the trend for maximum profitability.
In any currency you look at - The Yen, Euro, British Pound Swiss Franc Canadian or Australian dollar and many others, there are always occasions where a currency trend in the news is forecast to continue, due to overwhelming evidence in its favor and it then promptly collapses!
Big profits from currency trading can therefore be made by using the art of contrary thinking when the market is extremely bullish or bearish.
Why? Because everyone who has bought has taken positions and there are no buyers left. Prices have moved away from fair value. When there is no more buying to enter the market, a trend change is imminent.
It is clear that to succeed and make big profits in currency trading you need to think independently of the majority at important market turning points.
You can make big profits in currency trading from trend following, but you can with a little practice spot potential turning points in currencies as well which will help you bank profits, tighten stops or open new trades right on the turn, for maximum profitability.
Contrary trading will not only make you big profits in currency trading but in ANY market and has worked for centuries, as human nature never changes.

These days, computers have become so inevitable part of our lives that we need to use it for various purposes. Be it a free time or working hours, except a very few people, all depend on this machine to get their jobs done. There are certain things you need to know about the computer work hazards and the preventive techniques you need to follow to make your stay in front of the computer, trouble free.
I have come across some common worries shared by people who have to sit for long hours in front of the computer.
Is there a term called overuse of computers? If so, where do I draw the line?
If I have to use it on a daily basis, how many hours of my presence in front of this machine is recommended?
Will I be able to finish my work if I am to follow my recommended time schedule?
Here is a checklist that will help you create a safe, sound, and relaxed workstation. You can try using it in combination with the purchasing guide checklist. There are two options - ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. The questions relate to different topics like working postures, seating, keyboard, monitors, accessories, work area and some general questions. If the response is ‘no’, it means that a problem exists.
Working Postures:
1. Do your head and neck need to be upright, or in-line with the your torso (not bent down/back)?
2. Do the head, neck, and trunk need to be facing forward without twisting?
3. Does your trunk have to be perpendicular to the floor (you may lean back into backrest but not forward)?
4. Do your shoulders and upper arms need to be relaxed and in-line with the torso, normally about perpendicular to the floor (but not elevated or stretched forward)?
5. Do the upper arms and elbows need to be close to the body and not extended outward?
6. Do your forearms, wrists, and hands need to be straight and in -line (forearm at about 90 degrees to the upper arm)?
7. Do the wrists and hands need to be straight (not bent up/down or sideways toward the little finger)?
8. Do both the thighs need to be parallel to the floor and the lower legs to be perpendicular to floor (thighs may be slightly elevated above knees)?
9. Can your feet rest flat on the floor or should they be supported by a stable footrest?
Seating (Chair):
10. Does the backrest of the chair support your lower back?
11. Does the seat width and depth have the capacity for the specific user (seat pan not too big/small)?
12. Is the seat pan of your chair too long to press against the back of your knees and lower legs?
13. Is your seat cushioned properly, rounded, and blunt with a “waterfall” front?
14. Do the armrests of your chair support both forearms while working on the computer without meddling with your movement?
Keyboard:
15. Are the platforms for the keyboard/input device stable and large enough to hold a keyboard and an input device?
16. Are the input devices (mouse or trackball) located right next to your keyboard so that they can be accessed and used without having to reach them?
17. Can the input devices be easily activated with their size and shape fitting your hand (not too big/small)?
18. Does your workstation ensure that your wrists and hands do not rest on sharp or hard edges?
Monitor:
19. Is the top of the monitor screen at or below your eye level so that you can read it without bending your head or neck down/back?
20. Can the user with bifocals/trifocals read the screen without bending the head or neck backward?
21. Does the distance of the monitor allow you to read the screen without leaning your head, neck, or trunk forward/backward?
22. Is the monitor positioned directly in front of you so that you don’t have to twist your head or neck?
23. Do you ensure that glare (for example, from windows, lights) is not reflected on your screen that makes you sit in awkward postures so as to view the screen better?
Work Area (Desk and Workstation):
24. Between the top of the thighs and your computer table, do you have enough room or your thighs (thighs are not trapped)?
25. Do you ensure that your legs and feet have sufficient clearance space under the work surface so that you can get close enough to the keyboard/input device?
Accessories:
26. Is your document holder stable and large enough to hold documents?
27. Is your document holder placed at about the same height and distance as the monitor screen so that there is little head movement, or need to re-focus, when you look from the document to the screen?
28. Is your wrist/palm rest padded and free of sharp or square edges that push on your wrists?
29. Does your wrist/palm rest allow you to keep your forearms, wrists, and hands straight and in-line when using the keyboard/input device?
30. While doing telephone and computer tasks simultaneously, do you keep your head upright (not bent) and your shoulders relaxed (not elevated)?
General:
31. Do your workstation and equipment have sufficient adjustability that ensures your safe working posture while allowing you to make occasional changes in posture when you work on your computer?
32. Are your computer workstation, components, and accessories maintained in serviceable condition and do they function properly?
33. Are your computer tasks planned in a way that allows you to vary tasks with other work activities, or to take micro-breaks, or recovery pauses while at the computer workstation?
So that is all about it. Living carelessly is the easiest thing to do, but could be the most dangerous thing too. On the other hand if you take some precaution, it can be the foundation for a healthy living, later in your life.
Remember that all the computer related hazards are not going to hamper your life in a very short span of time. But it may take years to show the symptoms. As I said earlier, prevention is better than cure.
