Do’s and Don’ts of Launching a Small Business Website

Launching a small business website can seem like an enormous task ,although it does require some research, if done right it might be just the marketing tool your business needs. The road to a website is filled with website designers, website developers and graphic designers. This in itself is very confusing. A website designer is someone who produces the design. A website developer is someone who creates more of the program side to your websites rather than the actual design. Nowadays most website designers are also developers. A graphic designer is the person who makes the images at the top of web pages, the buttons, and menus on a website. The whole process should not be so difficult and full of surprises. Therefore the 6 Do’s and Don’ts should be a great start to help you launch your small business website.

Don’t concentrate on images and how pretty your site will be. Remember that your sites’ purpose is to answer your customers questions and inform your customers of what you have to offer, such as services and products. Don’t use too many images because if your site is so “new age” a lot of people will not be able to navigate and find their way around it therefore they will get frustrated and not stay on your site and that would defeat the sites purpose.

Don’t compare web designers by their price. Not all web designers are created equal. You must not only compare the price but the type of service you will require such as internet marketing and updates, will they continue to create the site until you are satisfied, and can they write the content. Some designers will create you a site and mail you a CD with the files and you will then have to figure it out on your own how to get it on the web. Others will help you choose a domain and a hosting company, upload your files to your site, and will write your content. Writing on the web is different from writing in print. A good content writer will know what to say to keep your visitors on your site. Keep these things in mind when choosing a web designer.

Don’t hire a web designer until you are ready. Once you are finished shopping around for a web designer, do make sure you have purchased a domain name, hosting, have a general idea of what you would like your site to look like and written your content, if you will be doing this yourself. This is important! Web designers work virtually, that is directly on-line (through the Internet). You might not actually ever meet them. This style of work is very different from working face to face and have times set up as to when you will meet. It actually benefits you, the designer can get your website on-line faster. Therefore it is important for the web designer to have all your information. If they have to wait a week or so for you website content then you will be pushed to the back burner.

Do request a quote from a few web designers before you decide on one. Once you have looked at some websites find a few who you like and request a quote from them. Explain that you are interested in a website, explain a little bit about your business, how many pages would your site need and what are other services you would need from them. Ask them to send you a price detailing what would be included. Understand that this is a quote and if you are requesting any other additional services there will be an additional cost although designers will usually let you know beforehand.

Do plan on keeping your site up-to-date. Keeping your site updated keeps your customers coming back to either find out what’s going on with your company or about new promotions or sales. It also gives your customers the impression that you care about keeping them informed and that you value their business. The benefit of having a website is it’s easy to update and don’t cost much. Usually a web design firm will have special packages for updates. Find a designer who also can provide updates and when your site is finished discuss an update schedule and what they can suggest to keep your site looking fresh.

Do find a designer who specializes in small business. Small design firms understand the needs of another small business and are more likely to be more personal with your questions. A big design firm might have 5 people working on your website and they might not all have gotten the e-mail that stated what you want. Whereas a small design firm would have one person working on your site with whom you communicate directly.

This guide to launching a small business website is just the tip of the iceberg. The best thing is always know what you are going to receive in return for your hard earned cash. Make sure that your website is like an investment and that you are actually going to receive a return on your investment. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions! Most designers will answer most of your questions, no problem.

Natural Breast Enhancement - Just How Effective are Natural Breast Enhancement Products?

So, what are your options for natural breast enhancement if you are seeking ways to non-surgically alter (augment) the size of your breasts? Some may still say there is no way to increase your breast size other than breast augmentation surgery (breast
implants). This, quite simply, is not true.

There are, in fact, natural breast enhancement products, pills, systems and treatments that will not only increase the size of your breasts, but make them firmer, more toned and more
lifted. http://www.breastenhancepill.com

The natural breast enhancement market is currently flooding with a slew of cheap imitation supplements and other natural breast enhancement products that do nothing more than temporarily bloat you with water retention, making your breasts swell, only to then have them return to their normal size when the product use is discontinued.

A good rule of thumb here is that old cliche, “you get what you pay for”. If you buy a $20.00 natural breast enhancement product, you can expect the same value in return for your results. On the other hand, there are some very effective phytoestrogen and non-phytoestrogen natural breast enhancement products that deliver very satisfactory results after a couple months of usage, and for a very affordable price compared to surgical breast augmentation.

It is highly recommended that in order to get the best results from your chosen natural breast enhancement product, you stay on the treatment for 6 months consecutively. This increases your chances for successful permanent breast growth and
maintenance, and also increases the maximum cup size you will achieve.

What are the results you can realistically expect from a quality natural breast enhancement product? To better understand what herbal and natural breast enhancement supplements do I’ll tell you what “average” customers tell us.

Most women have this to say after anywhere from one to six months of being on herbal breast enhancement:

* Breasts felt tender and possibly even like pre-period breast pain withing about one month of use, but usually no growth at this point

* At 4-6 months many may experience roughly 1/2 cup size increase

As a customer of natural breast enhancement, I can testify to the fact that (some, not all!) of these natural breast enhancement products really can be a very effective
alternative to breast augmentation surgery to those who are not satisfied with their current breast size.

I personally experienced almost a full cup size increase in the course of about 5 months of natural breast enhancement treatment and still have maintained it almost two years later. There really is nothing to lose since most quality natural breast enhancement products offer a money back guarantee of some sort. So, before you give up on getting the breasts you’ve always desired, take a look at your options - you will find they are genuinely effective!

Shopping Online and saving money - tips and tricks.

Did you know if you shop online, you could be saving hundreds of dollars compared to going directly to the nearest retailer? There are many advantages to shopping online: you don’t have to pay taxes, you can comparison shop, check out reviews and use coupon codes to save you a lot of money. Aside from the fact that you cannot feel and handle the product and that it takes longer to get the product, possibly the only disadvantage, if you are an avid shopper you can obtain significant savings by shopping online.

The first advantage is saving money on taxes. If the merchant you are purchasing from does not have a local presence in your state you do not have to pay taxes. For example, Amazon charges sales tax for orders shipped to the states of Kansas, Kentucky, North Dakota, & Washington. If you don’t live in those states you can buy a product from Amazon and save your money on sales taxes. When you decide to buy a product from an online merchant, make sure you read the fine print about where they have a local presence. If two merchants, retailer A and retailer B, offer the same product for the same price and retailer A is the only retailer out of the two that has a local presence, then you should definitely choose merchant B as your shopping target since you could save on sales taxes.

Of course, saving money on taxes is not just the only benefit. Before you shop online I recommend comparison shopping. There are many sites that can can help you comparison shop: epinons, mysimon, bizrate, froogle. All these comparison sites may have different merchants on their list so it’s good to try them all if you know exactly what you are looking for. Not only do they offer different price comparisons on products, some of these sites also provide excellent reviews on products. If you cannot find good reviews on the product you want, I recommend Amazon. Amazon is one of the biggest online retailers and, because of this, they have the most product reviews on every item that you can think of. There have been many times where I’ve changed my mind about a product after reading product reviews on Amazon.

Perhaps the most exciting way about saving money online is finding a good deal and/or using coupon codes from sites like Cheap-buys.com. What are coupon codes? They are text entries that you can input on a merchant’s shopping cart when checking out to receive a discount for your purchases. Almost all merchants have a input box for entering coupon codes as the user wants to check out. Now a lot of times you need to search for these coupon codes on the web since they don’t make it so obvious for the user to find. Why do these merchants provide coupon codes? Sometimes they want to boost their sales by telling other websites (affiliates) to promote their coupon codes. When a user visits the affiliate site they will see that they can save an additional percentage by using the coupon code and therefore the consumer is more likely to make a purchase since they can save additional money. Some of these coupon codes are for a limited time only and must be used quickly. For example, Dell once used to have a promotional coupon code for $750 off their laptops. It had a user limit and it expired within hours since the demand was extremely high.

I hope I have provided you with the right weapons for your next shopping spree. For additional tips on shopping and for coupon codes to save you money you can visit websites such as cheap-buys.com or webcouponcodes.com. By golly, you are likely to save more than a few bucks and bring a smile to your face!

Get a new home with easy mortgage, 341934 euro in 48 hours

Many of these fees are fixed but some can be negotiated.

See which lenders are charging fees 5 percent and for how much. A mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan for 11 percent. See mortgage loan for residential mortgage lending, and commercial mortgage for lending against commercial property. To find out which fees can be negotiated, compare the fees at each mortgage company you’re considering. Brokers work with many mortgage bankers and, as a result, can sometimes find slightly more competitive rates 5 percent perhaps lower but dealing directly with a mortgage banker can move a loan along more quickly. But others will claim low rates to bring in customers or tell you that the rates 4 percent offered by competitors will change.

Both banks and brokers have their strengths and weaknesses. Get a new home with geld lenen met negatieve bkr notering, 463034 euro in 24 hours.

While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt of 10 percent. Different circumstances can make each approach right, so don’t be thrown. Different lenders charge different fees. Some will quote you precise, competitive rates 6 percent. So how do you find a lender or broker you can trust? Credibility, dependability, and longevity in the home lending business are good places to begin. Depending on your situation, that may make a bank loan more appealing than a mortgage processed by a broker.

And of course, each loan and each borrower are different. Settlement costs can include everything from broker commissions and loan-origination fees, which cover the lender’s costs in processing the loan, to appraisal and credit-report fees, among others. In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower. Start with credibility. It’s not easy to know if the prices quoted by lenders are reliable. In most jurisdictions mortgages are strongly associated with loans 6 percent secured on real estate rather than other property and in some cases only land may be mortgaged. Although most mortgage experts say that rates 11 percent are pretty much the same wherever you go, give or take this tiny 3 percentage. Arranging a mortgage is seen as the standard method by which individuals and businesses can purchase residential and commercial real estate without the need to pay the full value immediately. It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed.

Hurricanes and Business Networking

If you are a small business and your area has been devastated by a large category hurricane like any of those that happened during the 2005 Atlantic tropical hurricane season then you know that you must rebuild your business. This means you need to get out get business, as many of your customers who were providing cash flow for you and your family are no longer customers and may never return to the area.

If you are in a small business you’re part of the community and you must help rebuild the community, as that is your responsibility. Sure you can get out of town and even take your business and knowledge and experience and move somewhere else to start again. But this will not satisfy you nor is the right thing to do. And you probably know that.

Now then, let me tell you that the community that works together stays together and those businesses, which support the community stay in business over the long haul and that is what is all about. If are in a small business the best thing you can do is get with a service club and help rebuild the town and while you’re doing that be sure to make contacts and network with other small-business owners and local community professionals to insure that you have all the future customers you need once your store and small business is backup and running again.

You may think that working for free to help rebuild the community is a tough way to go on your lifestyle. But by doing the right thing in networking along the way you can make it all worthwhile in the long run and everyone will win together including the community that you love, work in and that has provided you so many years in your successful small-business. Trust your community and consider all this in 2006.

MLM - Sure Thing or Scam?

Be your own boss! Set your own schedule. Retire Early! Who
doesn’t want that, right? Multi-level Marketing has been praised
for allowing financial freedom; and it’s been criticized for
being a big scam. As with any business venture, it’s buyer
beware. Do your homework first. Both sides agree; it takes
work. If anyone tries to tell you that it’s easy money, there’s
so such thing. Also as with any new endeavor, you will need to
make an initial investment. It takes money to make money. Below
outlines the two schools of thought. You be the judge.

Some of the comments in favor of MLM include: “Donald Trump was
asked on the Tonight Show, if he had to start all over from
scratch what he would do - His answer…MLM”. And yet another
satisfied participant, “It is a wonderful combination of being
your own boss and being mentored. It has a support system built
right in and usually pretty neat products! I was involved with
[company] for a while and the people were fabulous, products were
great and the system of support was wonderful to have. I hear the
same is true for many network marketing direct sales companies! I
think MLM companies are great!”

Conversely, those who didn’t speak as highly include: “You only
make money when you have lots of people under you. You spend a
lot to stay in each month. I was required to spend more than I
needed or could afford each month, so I had to quit. Seems to me
the ones who do well are ones who can afford to really spend and
have contacts already who have money they can spend as well.
Then they in turn have contacts of their own that are the same.
A lot of MLMs out there say you can make $X each month, but
honestly there are few and far between who are really doing it.
They hook those who want to work at home and need the money-only
to lose them after they’re more broke than they started.”
Continued another disgruntled former MLMer, “Unfortunately too
many try to convince you that it is so easy. If it were so easy,
everyone would be doing it. I have been in several different MLM
companies and have experienced constant changes in the
compensation plan. As we all know, the compensation plan is what
gets our attention.”

So there you have it, both sides of the coin. All would concur
that Multi-Level Marketing is not for everyone. But that’s why
there are so many different flavors of ice cream. There truly is
something for everyone. All in all, the bottom line is there
needs to be passion and drive to make your business work,
regardless if it is MLM or more traditional sole proprietorship
or corporation. If money is your only motivator it will likely
fail. You need to believe in your product or service or you can
simply plan on failing.

Do your due diligence when researching various opportunities.

Is Your Business Ready for Podcasting?

Everyone seems to be making and listening to podcasts nowadays. At the beginning, podcasting seemed to be associated with the so called computer geeks. These days however, it is not uncommon to see podcasts from businesses and corporations trying to widen their horizons and get a hold of a larger market. As podcasts inherently surpasses the limits of traditional broadcasting and advertising, they present a feasible alternative to businesses as a means of making their presence felt all over the world.

Could podcasts possibly be what your business needs? In order to help you answer that question, it may be helpful to first understand what a podcast can do for your business. The most obvious thing would be promotion. A podcast can serve to promote your business just like advertisements do. This application in itself covers a wide range of possibilities. You can do virtually anything on a podcast to promote your business. Diverting from the usual advertisements, you can use most any content and format to promote your business. One such example would be to offer in-depth information to your customers. They need not be overtly self-promoting but the whole effect would be to make the consumers aware of your business. If you are an educational institution for example, you may give weekly tips to students or to parents. For medical-related business, podcasts may focus on different health issues. In this way, you not only promote your business but you also provide a service to your customers. What better way to advertise your services?

An internal application of podcasting is for training. Podcasts are fast becoming a viable alternative for companies to provide training and information to their employees. Business executives often have a huge amount of work to be done at such a short period of time. With podcasts, they have a more portable way of perusing information. All you need to provide is an MP3 player (a laptop would work just as well) and anyone in your company can have access to training materials and other documents anywhere, anytime.

Of course, as with most any other commercial endeavour, using podcasts for your business will cost you some money. You need people to create podcasts on a regular basis. These people would have to know some of the technical aspects of recording and podcasting. Then you need your talents - people who would actually be recorded for the podcasts. You will have to analyze the cost benefit relationship before deciding to start a podcast for your business.

There are some ways to offset the cost of creating a podcast. If you are making podcasts for your customers, you may opt to charge a small fee for each download. You can also choose to provide a subscription service wherein the listener will receive the podcasts in their emails regularly for a fee. Of course, this might be not be the best option as people prefer not having to pay for podcasts.

Whatever you decide to do, the bottom line is to create podcasts that will serve their purpose. Be it for consumer awareness, added customer service, or employee training, your podcasts should have relevant content packaged in an appropriate manner. Even if you shell out money for this project, the returns may be more than what you expect!

Podcastblaster.com supplies easy to use podcasting software and provides tips on creating podcasts and podcasting for profit.

Relationship Problems: What’s Your Contribution?

As the story goes, there was once a farmer and his family. They lived in and farmed a huge and gorgeous valley, right next to an equally huge and gorgeous mountain range.

Each year as the seasons turned into late summer and early fall, the farmer and his sons would begin to store their barns with hay for the winter. Some years they stored just a little for the winter, some years they stored much more.

One year, they began to store hay earlier than ever before. The farmer told his sons that it was going to be a very long and cold winter. As each week began, the farmer would instruct his sons to store more and more, and even more hay.

And then as they got further and further into the fall, the farmer and his sons doubled the amount of hay they stored in the barn.

The father said “Sons ,we’ve got to store more hay than ever before. It’s going to be a winter like we have never seen.”

One son, being just a bit tired of storing more and more hay, asked the father how he could know that it was going to be a more difficult winter than ever before. The father replied, “Son, you are now old enough for me to tell you the secret of how I know how difficult a winter it will be. Each year, I look up on the great mountain where the Indians live. On the mountain, the Indians store wood for the winter. Some years, in mild winters, they store just a little. Other years, in particularly harsh winters, they store much more.

So I know how cold the winter is going to be by watching how much wood the Indians store away. Now that you know my secret, let’s get to work, because the Indians just put away more wood yesterday.”

Another son, being fed up with storing so much hay, took one of his younger brothers on a journey up to the mountains to speak with the Indians.

When they arrived, they approached the chief of the tribe and asked him why he was putting away so much wood this year. To which the chief replied,

“This is an ancient Indian custom. We always know how cold the winter will be by watching the farmer in the valley. The colder the winter will be, the more hay the farmer puts away!”

What is Your Contribution?

Both the Indian and the farmer were simply reacting to each other, believing that each one was the source of the need to prepare the winter.

And so it goes in many of our relationships. Whether it is in friendship, marriage, family, or the work environment, we are prone to blame others for the way we behave in the relationship.

The line goes something like this,

“If only they would do (blank), then I would stop (or start) doing (blank).”

So the question then becomes, as in the farmer-Indian story, what is your contribution?

Do you do any of the following:

=>Expect too much.

=>Expect too little.

=>Have a preconceived bias against the other person.

=>Misinterpret something they have said or done and then fail to check out your perception.

=>Expect/demand the other person to change first.

=>Expect/demand your own way.

=>Do the silent treatment or some other way of shutting the other person out.

So what to do? Three steps:

1) Identify your contribution.

2) Take responsibility for it, whether you like it or not.

3) Change your contribution.

Ready for the bottom line folks? Change your contribution, and you can not only solve the problem, you can change and improve the relationship.
