I get emails nearly everyday from people all over the world, asking me for my healing assistance with their pet companions.
Q: Why did my animal get sick?
A: This is one of the first questions I receive.
“No greater love than this is for someone to lay down their life for their fellow man”
One of the first things I need to tell you is that animals love you so unconditionally and so completely, that they act as shamanic healers. What I mean is that they will gladly sacrifice their own health and life by instinctively “taking on” their owner’s illness or disease in an attempt to cure them.
If you are a healer, please keep your animals out of your healing room, especially if you have an extremely ill client.
My miniature dachshund, Fritzl, thinks that everyone who rings the doorbell is really coming to visit him. He escorts them, making a breeze with his wagging tail, all the way into my healing room. I know right there and then that the healing has already begun.
I have know Fritzl to jump up onto my massage table, lay between my client’s legs, and send love energy to them. And Fritzl get so sad and begins to whine and cry when I pick him up to move him! He wants to help heal, and knows he can do it.
If you are ill, you need to have someone do some healings on your pet to pull and release the toxic energies and raise his vibrations.
Or, if your client has an animal, you must work on them both.
As I have just said, your ailing client’s animal will be absorbing his discordant energies and lower vibrations. When you schedule an appointment with your client, allow additional time for his companion too.
To communicate intuitively with animals, send pictures of what you want from them. To heal animals, go in, imagine, and project to the animal the feeling of being very strong and healthy. I always pray to God to pull any disease from the animal and send the disease to the Light. I then insert oceans of unconditional love into them. I imagine and see them smiling, happy, comfortable, strong, healthy.
I know a woman in Alaska who successfully uses this technique to heal birds. She sees them soaring high up into the sky, stretching their wings, getting stronger and stronger, as they get higher and higher, and are soon barely visible.
You can begin this technique now so that you have already achieved your unique style of communication and healing with your companion! Why wait until there’s a need? Picture and see your loved one healthy and vibrant. You will be amazed at your results!

When you are just about to begin to play cricket it’s not always easy to choose what you need to buy. If you go into a sportswear equipment store & ask them what you require, you will in all probability end up getting a significant amount of kit that you don’t need. So, it’s best to figure out what you will want before you go shopping. That way you are very much more likely to get what you want, rather than what the store landlord thinks you require. Find a wide selection of cricket items today at Sportswear-Equipment.com.
Below, is more or less a full cricket equipment inventory, you don’t require to get all the kit on this list, as several clubs will lend you kit in particular at youth level:
Cricket whites, cricket bats, balls, helmets, gloves, batting (wicket keeping) inner gloves, wicket keeping gloves, batting pads, wicket keeping pads, box, chest pad, arm guard, inner thigh pad, cricket boots (bowling boots; batting boots), box (groin guard), stumps and bails.
For the majority of cricket meetings you will ever play a part in you will need your own set of whites. Cricket whites contain white cricket trousers and a cricket shirt. It is therefore important to check that you purchase a good set of cricket trousers and also a nice white cricket shirt and jumper as it can turn cold if you are standing out on the pitch for a great deal of time especially if you intend to play in England (the start and end of the season are the coldest).
If you can not borrow kit from your club the other most critical items of equipment are a cricket bat & box. A good quality cricket bat is critical if you plan to score plenty of runs and is a very personal piece of equipment, so spend a few hours picking your bat, ideally you ought to go to a sports store and pick one up before you buy in order for you to know how it feels to hit with. When you know what you want you can often purchase bats on the World Wide Web cheaper). You need a good box to guard your groin from the ball, as getting hit down below’ is very painful, so investing in a good box before you start is a defiant must - you can not play cricket without one.
eMediaCampaigns! recently shared a few moments with Dr. Stan Harris as part of the OnTheMove! interview series. Dr. Stan Harris is an entrepreneur, certified behavior consultant, 10th Degree Black Belt, and inductee the “Black Belt Hall of Fame.” Earlier this month, he was inducted into the “Motivational Speaker’s Hall of Fame.” He now takes his seat among Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, Les Brown, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, Stephen Covey and other greats. In 1993, he earned his Doctorate of Divinity degree from Great Plains Baptist Divinity School. He is currently working towards his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Joel Robbins, College of Natural Health, Oklahoma.
Dr. Stan’s speaking presentations often include attention-keeping, Karate demonstrations where he breaks bricks, wooden blocks, and lays on a bed of nails as 100 lbs. of bricks are broken across his chest with a sledge hammer. He has shared the platform with Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Charlie “Tremendous” Jones, Doug Firebaugh, Barry Donalson, Jerry D. Rhino Clark, and of the like. To date, Dr. Stan has spoken in 49 states and 17 countries.
“Dr. Stan Harris has that unmistakable charisma that puts him in the winner’s circle. His unforgettable presentations demonstrate dramatically how to break through your mental barriers to achieve peak performance in the real world. I have shared the platform with him and been in his audiences. His reviews always mention the same four words: Life Changing, Smashing, Success!”
-Dr. Denis Waitley, author “The Psychology of Winning”
We asked this two-time hall of fame inductee to share more about his life, current projects, visions, and of course, his spectacular, inspiration-filled, Martial Arts, speaking presentations.
EMC! Good morning, and thank you for taking the time to speak with us.
Dr.StanHarris: The pleasure is mine.
EMC!: Could you tell us more about your background?
Dr. Stan Harris: I have two brothers, and two half brothers. We were raised in a single parent home in the roach and mice infested projects (Smith Holmes) of Harrisburg, PA. I remember waking up with giant water bugs crawling on my face! At 6 years of age while playing on a playground, a gang of teenagers jumped, beat, tarred, and feathered me. They left me in a field. Someone found me, and rushed me to the hospital before I suffocated from the thick tar. I grew up wondering if anyone cared, I never heard the words, ” I Love You.” I was neglected, confused, and abused — verbally, emotionally, sexually, and physically. I was beaten with a steel folding chair across my back and head, as well as with a choker chain (for a dog), by the hands of my Mom’s boyfriend — without her knowledge of course.
EMC!: You are a survivor. How did you become interested in Karate, and Martial Arts in general?
Dr. Stan Harris: One day my mother won a free month of Karate Lessons (ShotoKan Karate). She liked it so much that she continued training for quite awhile. One day she got into a fight with her boyfriend that had physically abused me. She knocked him out with a side thrust kick to the jaw. My brothers and I looked at each other in shock. We went to the man on the ground who was out cold and said, “Whatever you do, don’t mess with my Momma anymore, because my Momma is bad, man; my Momma is bad.” The event so impressed me that I started training in Isshin’ryu Karate with the hopes that I would learn to protect myself and one day become a champion and get the attention I so craved for as a younger child.
EMC!: Would you say the realization that you could empower yourself utilizing the principles of Martial Arts, ignited your desire to help others empower themselves in their daily lives?
Dr. Stan Harris: Yes. They (the instructors) taught us to have self discipline, before learning self defense. We learned that the greatest of all victories is the conquest of one’s own self. I wanted to share with others my newly found power of channeling my anger and frustration into something productive. I also wanted others to experience the new found improved self image that comes with self control and accomplishments.
EMC!: Dr. Stan, what are the visions you concoct in your mind which drive your desire to contribute?
Dr. Stan Harris: I see myself supporting 100 missionaries. I always wanted to be the role model for others, that I never had personally. The power of expectation and belief from someone that we respect and admire can unleash great amounts of power that have been held back. I also envision myself continuing to present health seminars around the country (USA).
EMC!: I hear the passion in your words, Dr. Stan. Most people who know you, and even those who are only remotely familiar with you and your work, describe you using the word “passionate.” Is passion something you work to manifest on a daily basis?
Dr. Stan Harris: Most definitely. One woman met me in the airport and said, “Whatever it is you do, I want to be part of because you exude such compassion, and power.” Like John Wesly of old, I just put myself on fire and people come watch me burn!
EMC!: Whose counsel have you benefited the most from?
Dr. Stan Harris: Other than the Bible, William E. Bailey who also mentored Jim Rohn, Les Brown and others.
EMC!: Your speaking presentations often include a dynamic demonstration of Martial Arts. Amazingly, you break 22 inches of bricks with your bare hands utilizing incredible speed and power. Can you describe the impact it has on your audiences?
Dr. Stan Harris: Because our generation is so visual. I like to use visual aids that they can relate to, to add extra impact to my message. People are often spell bound, and they really get the point that we can break through our limitations, no matter how hard, or difficult!
EMC!: That certainly paints a picture. Can you give us some examples which depict how people’s lives were changed for the greater after seeing you brick-breaking presentation?
Dr. Stan Harris: Here’s what Rita Graves from Texas said:
“Dr. Stan Harris was so inspirational! He touched my heart tremendously. Words cannot tell you how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to meet and hear him speak in person. Wow… we could all his enthusiasm! This event inspired each and every guest. It filled our hearts, minds and souls with inspiration, motivation, empowerment, knowledge, strength, and success. Now we can continue to move forward in a positive manner and know that we all are worthy of great things to come.”
Ned Rae said: “Dr. Stan Harris who taught us all how to master our fears and have a life changing “break-through” as we all broke our 1″ boards with our fear written on the back. Seeing everyone from 8 years old to 81 years old stand in line to take their first step beyond their fears by breaking that board with their hand, a true “breakthrough” was worth the cost of attendance.”
Cheryl Rae, Executive Director with her company reported to her CEO:
“The highlight for me was Dr. Stan’s ‘breakthrough’ performance. I have to admit, when he passed out a board to everyone, I wasn’t real sure if I could break it. It was a hard board! But when I saw an 8 year old boy do it and Maggie, 81 years old, do it…..that was it. If they could then I could too. And, with Dr. Stan coaching me, I did it on the first try! It was so easy and nothing happened to my hand — it was an amazing moment for me. I’m getting emotional just thinking about it.”
EMC!: Dr. Stan, it’s not surprising that your workshops and presentations are in such great demand. Tell us; who helps you manage the numerous daily opportunities and invitations to speak that continue to come your way?
Dr. Stan Harris: Presently, I do it all myself; but I will have to get someone to take care of it for me because the demands are getting too great. I try to keep a personal touch as long as I possibly can.
EMC!: What are some of the projects you are working on now?
Dr. Stan Harris: Cynthia Kersey (Author of the number one best seller, Unstoppable, and the most recent Unstoppable Women) and I are co-authoring a book called, Celebrating Unstoppable African Americans. Also, Jack Zufelt, author of another number one, best seller, The DNA of Success, and I are producing a CD series titled, How to Be a Black Belt in Your Business.” Then, there’s MyOpp (My Online Portfolio Presentation). You see, residual income is great, but multiple streams of passive residual income is the best. MyOpp is mixing the teachings of the past, the techniques of the present, and the technology of the future, to insure success. Their mission includes, “Empowering Entrepreneurs with viable solutions, systems and technologies that help leverage the Internet to create multiple streams of residual Income.” When I went to the top of three companies simultaneously, people would ask me, “How do you do it? You must have a special gift or ability?” Well, this new system allows people who only know how to point and click to be successful. MyOpp is the Walmart; the Microsoft of marketing. Anyone interested can check out my demo site. www.myopp.com/shdemo
EMC!: They all sound fascinating. And, finally, what are two of your most cherished values, and why?
Dr. Stan Harris: One; my faith - It keeps my going. Without the Lord, I would be nothing, and I could do nothing of real value. And two, being true to myself because I get to look myself in the mirror everyday. I’d like to like what, and who I see. It also gives me personal power with others.
EMC!: Thank you, Dr. Stan Harris. You have to be one of the busiest — and happiest — individuals on earth!
Dr. Stan Harris: It was an honor for me to participate. May I leave you with my Attitude Adjuster?
EMC! We would be honored.
Dr. Stan Harris:
Around me are boundless opportunities,
Before me are endless possibilities,
Within me is the One who has infinite power,
Behind me — who cares?
I’m succeeding in a great way and it’s about to get better, watch out world, here I come!

Forty years ago I became very interested in health and nutrition. I had been a sickly child and I had hated being sick. As a low-energy young adult, I had decided to do something about my health, so after reading some wonderful books on nutrition, I proceeded to completely change what I ate. I started to shop at the only little health food store in Los Angeles - Whole Foods was years away! I threw out all packaged food and ate only natural, fresh organic products - when I could get them. I made a decision that if people didn’t eat something 100 years ago, I wasn’t going to eat it now. I was extremely pleased with the improvement in my health and energy.
When I had children, I wanted them to be healthy, so I made sure that I had only healthy food in the house. By the time my children went to school, they were not happy with the food choices in their lunch boxes. Why couldn’t they have Twinkies and fluffy white bread like the other kids? Why couldn’t they have Oreos instead of the healthy cookies that I made for them? They didn’t like being “weird.” When we went to the market and they wanted junk, I told them they needed to buy it with their own money - that I was never going to spend money on junk food. It didn’t take them long to know that I meant it and to stop asking.
No one else in my family was into nutrition in the way I was. I was considered a “health nut” and often ridiculed. Yet my children were calm most of the time and had no trouble learning and staying focused on tasks. I noticed that when they went to birthday parties and had lots of sugar, they came home bouncing off the walls. Whatever criticism and complaints I received, I knew it was loving to them for me to keep only healthy food in the home.
It’s time we started to really pay attention to what love is regarding food. Is it loving to reward a child for good behavior with sweets? The child may feel loved at the moment, just as we feel good for the moment when we reward ourselves with junk food, but in the long run it is not loving to indulge ourselves or our children in eating foods that erode rather than promote health and well-being.
There has been much research into health and nutrition since I learned about it forty years ago. I try to keep up by reading the latest books, but it tends to get confusing regarding what is healthy and what isn’t. I have learned to tune into my body so I know which foods are good for me and which are not. I know how much protein I need, how much carbohydrates I need and in what form, and how much fat I need. When my children were growing up, I encouraged them to pay attention to how they felt in reaction to the foods they ate. Only by encouraging our children to tune inside and trust their inner experience will they learn to know what is right for them and what is wrong for them. It is too easy to get swayed by the latest diet, the latest information regarding health. Yet each of our bodies are different so we each need to know what balance of proteins, fats and carbs we each need to support our health.
This means that we can’t impose on our children what works for us. We need to notice, and encourage our children to notice, what works and what doesn’t work for them. But what does not work for anyone is processed foods, preserved foods, foods with pesticides, and sugar. Loving ourselves and our children means eating whole natural foods, even if your family complains.
Do not underestimate the effects of good or poor nutrition on the health of your children’s minds and bodies. Is it more important to you to have control over how your children feel about you by indulging them in unhealthy foods, or is it more important to be loving to them by providing them with the opportunity to have strong and healthy bodies and minds?
If you really want to be loving to your children, learn about good nutrition and be solid in your convictions.

Whenever people start learning martial arts and self defense skills — they will usually learn a lot of different “techniques”. Like kicking, punching, leg sweeping, etc.
However, just as important as technique — maybe even more important, depending on who you ask — is something you rarely hear in the dojos, on TV or read about in the magazines:
Attributes.
What are attributes?
They are things like awareness, line familiarization, sensitivity, strength, power, speed, distancing, timing, and body mechanics.
In other words, attributes are the things that make it possible to pull off a technique in a real life situation. The guy who trained me, Sifu Paul Vunak, explains it like this:
“Anyone can watch hours of Michael Jordan on videotape. Anyone can write down and study his techniques on dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense. Now why can’t that person go out and play like him? It is because one does not possess his attributes, like his awareness of teammates and defenders, his speed, distancing, and ability to coordinate his body.”
And this is where many traditional martial artists fall short. They may have very effective and efficient “moves”, but can’t execute them in a street-fighting situation.
Bottom line:
When it comes to techniques and attributes, without one, the other is useless. Train them both and you’ll be a lot more dangerous to a violent attacker than you would with just “moves.”
Sifu Matt Numrich is one of only a few instructors in the world with Full Certification in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, and also the Filipino Martial Arts. His students include everyone from Federal Air Marshals and military elites to small children and 65-year old ladies. So many humans fear change and the advances of science and they will claim that modern advances are evil. They will say that God wanted us this way and not to modify human life or better ourselves. But if so and if one submits that there is a God or Gods then why would he, she, it or them give us such a large brain if problem solving was not an intended attribute?
Many critics of technology will say such human sciences and advances lack integrity to what it is to be human and deny that God made us in his image and wants us to remain this way? Interesting comment and even more interesting would be the question that how would these detractors of science know that?
There is no lack of integrity to giving a soldier an artificial knee, a grandma a new hip or a fireman a new arm. You see, tere is nothing wrong with giving me a better brain or a system to use so I can accomplish more and be better at my work and research using all I have and bettering it. Whether it is an artificial piece of technology or a super vitamin C pill to allow us to be better, healthier and stronger; that is a good thing and it is not evil, not even close.
A combination for computerized technologies we can interface with and betting our own bio-system to work more efficient might be the right way to go, and we should find out. If we fail to advance our technologies, then we fail the species and our own future from catastrophe, calamity or potential eventuality, you see? Not to mention failing one’s god, by putting forth a meager effort to help people with injuries, ailment or brain decay disease. Think on this.

1. Save up to 50% per month on convenience cleaner cloths by cutting them into half, i.e. dryer softener cloths, face cleanser cloths, etc.
Savings: $5 per month
2. Find more thoughtful gifts and buy when the item is on sale, shop for birthdays and holidays throughout the year not at the time of the events.
Savings: $10 per month
3. Bring your lunch to work once a week instead of eating out.
Savings: $7 x 4 weeks = $28 per month
4. Don’t go to the coffee shop on the weekends.
Savings: 2 visits @ $2 = $4 per week x 4 weeks = $16 per month
5. If you carry a balance on your credit card, and you’re only able to afford paying the minimum monthly amount, pay weekly installments instead of one monthly payment. For example, if you owe $100 per month, pay $25 per week. Because credit card companies accrue interest daily on your balance, paying only once a month is a huge detriment to your fiscal health.
Savings: $10 - $100 per month (or more!)
6. Instead of a family night out, consider having an old fashion picnic together or a bike ride. Curbing entertainment costs doesn’t mean curbing the fun.
Savings: $25+ per month
7. Spend a day cooking meals that can be frozen for later use for your family. Once a Month Cooking, a book by Mary Beth Lagerborg and Mimi Wilson, features grocery lists and recipes to prepare and freeze a month’s worth of food for you and your family. Not only are you able to purchase the food in bulk, this method prevents having to throw away any spoiled food.
Savings: $50+ per month
8. If you are a regular monthly book buyer, stop the habit and visit your library instead! If you insist on buying books, buy it used at your local store or online at merchants such as www.half.com or www.amazon.com. Even a better idea, how about selling the books you have that you don’t need!
Savings: $5 - 15 per month
9. Use less expensive gasoline. If you live in North America and have Internet access, you are able to search for the cheapest gas price in your neighborhood with Gas Buddy, www.gasbuddy.com.
Savings: $5 - 15 per month
10. Use two-for-one coupons when dining out; search for these in local newspapers, flyers, and in your “junk mail.” If you are a group of four or more people, consider buying dining certificates at Restaurant.com, www.restaurant.com. After choosing your city and state on the Website, you will be presented with a listing of restaurants vying for your dining dollar!
Savings: $5- $50 per month
